How do I join the San Francisco Atheists?
To join the San Francisco Atheists you need only
register your email with us and attend our events. We do not
have a membership fee; although we do ask for a donation at
our monthly meetings.

What do the San Francisco Atheists do?
Community: We meet at least once a month for
a social event. The event is often the last Saturday
of the month. In June and in December we have
festive Solstice events instead of meetings. See our
calendar for details.
At our monthly meetings we often have speakers
or video presentations. We usually spend the first
hour in informal socializing, and you can eat and
drink if you wish. Our formal program usually begins
around 7 pm, often followed by Q&A and discussion.
Meetings usually end by 8:30-9 pm. No RSVP is
required.
Activism: The San Francisco Atheists is very active
in the area of atheist rights, separation of church and state,
and rational thinking. We attend and organize many protests etc.

What does the San Francisco Atheists use donations for?
The San Francisco Atheists is run by a small volunteer steering committee. All donations are used to pay for: our web presence, meeting room hire, speaker expenses, presentation equipment, protest equipment, and event sundries. On occasion the San Francisco Atheists sponsor worthy events and programs such as the Atheist Film Festival etc.
Where and when do the San Francisco Atheists meet?
The San Francisco Atheists generally meet at Schroeder's Restaurant on the last Saturday of every month. In June and in December we have festive Solstice events instead of meetings. See our calendar for details. The regular meeting is held in Schroeder's Restaurant, rear dining room, at 240 Front St San Francisco, CA 94111.
Schroeder's Restaurant is two blocks north of Market Street, between California and Sacramento Streets. Use California Street cable car, or BART/MUNI Embarcadero stop. Parking on street or at nearby Embarcadero garage.
