A peaceable counter-protest was held alongside the church-funded "Walk for Life" on January 20, 2007. Click here for the press release (MS Word). Under the theme (and banner) of "End the Religious Oppression of Women!" Pro-Choice Atheists from the Bay Area gathered to make a presence at this rally. Sponsored by Bay Area Coalition for Our Reproductive Rights, local Atheist groups were well represented throughout the rally.
